These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of robertfrankelprints.com and purchases from Robert Frankel Fine Art Prints. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Robert Frankel Fine Art Prints and Robert Frankel. “You” refers to a visitor or customer.
By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked on the site. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.
1. Store information
Robert Frankel Fine Art Prints offers authorized fine-art prints created from Robert Frankel's original artwork.

2. Eligibility and lawful use
You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order. You may not use the site or its content for an unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose; interfere with the site's operation or security; introduce malicious code; scrape the site in a manner that disrupts it; or attempt to access another person's account or information.
3. Product information
We try to describe and display every print accurately. Screen settings, lighting, photography, and printing processes can cause reasonable differences between colors displayed electronically and colors in a physical print. Minor variation that is inherent in reproduction or paper handling is not necessarily a defect.
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, room scenes, frames, furniture, and decorative accessories shown in lifestyle images are for display inspiration and are not included with the print.
Product dimensions, paper specifications, border details, and included components are described on the applicable product page. Contact us before ordering if a specification is important to your purchase.
We may correct typographical errors or inaccurate product information. A correction will not reduce rights already provided by applicable law.
4. Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the store or at checkout. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated and shown before payment when required. Currency conversion, bank, or card-provider fees may be charged separately by the customer's financial institution.
Payment is processed using the methods shown at checkout. We do not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every customer, device, currency, or location.
5. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order; it does not prevent us from reviewing or canceling an order for a valid reason.
We may decline or cancel an order before fulfillment because of suspected fraud, payment failure, an obvious pricing or listing error, unavailable production capability, delivery restrictions, or legal requirements. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue an appropriate refund.
We may limit quantities purchased by one person, household, account, payment method, billing address, or shipping address when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, unauthorized resale, or abuse of a promotion.
6. Made-to-order production and cancellation
Prints are produced after an order is placed. Contact us immediately if an order needs to be canceled or changed. Cancellation is available for a full refund before the order enters production. After production or shipment begins, cancellation or modification is not guaranteed, and the Refund and Return Policy will apply after delivery.
7. Promotions and discounts
Promotions are governed by the terms displayed with the offer and by the Promotional Terms below. Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Promotions apply only during the advertised period.
- Eligibility is calculated using qualifying merchandise after product-level discounts and before shipping and taxes.
- Offers have no cash value and cannot be applied to previous purchases.
- Only one automatic tier or offer applies to the same item; discounts do not stack unless expressly stated.
- If an order is changed, canceled, or partially returned, the discount and refund may be recalculated based on the items ultimately kept.
- We may correct technical errors or prevent misuse, but we will not retroactively change a valid completed purchase except as permitted by law.
8. Shipping and delivery
Production, shipping rates, international charges, delivery estimates, tracking, and address requirements are governed by the Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly describe a service as guaranteed.
9. Returns, refunds, and order problems
Returns and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Return Policy. Damage, defects, incorrect items, and missing deliveries are governed by the Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Order Policy. These policies do not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
10. Intellectual property
The artwork, product images, photographs, text, graphics, logos, page designs, and other content on the site are owned by or licensed to Robert Frankel Fine Art Prints and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing a print transfers ownership of that physical copy only. It does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, scan, copy, modify, publish, distribute, license, create derivative works from, commercially display, tokenize, or sell reproductions of the artwork.
You may share a personal photograph of a lawfully purchased print for non-commercial purposes, provided that the use does not falsely imply endorsement or remove an existing artist attribution.
11. Reviews, messages, and submitted content
If you submit a review, testimonial, photograph, comment, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person's rights. You retain ownership of your content.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and display submitted content in connection with operating and promoting the store, subject to applicable privacy law. We will not publish private customer-service communications as testimonials without permission.
We may remove submitted content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, irrelevant, or infringes another person's rights.
12. Third-party services and Shopify
The store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify and other service providers help provide checkout, payment, delivery, analytics, and related services. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply when you use their services.
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party.
13. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Shopify may also process information as described in its own privacy materials. By using the site, you acknowledge that information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
14. Availability and site changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue site features, products, or prospective offers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We are not responsible for a temporary interruption outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect obligations relating to orders already accepted.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including rights relating to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury where limitation is prohibited, or goods that are faulty or not as described.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its general informational content are provided “as available.” We do not warrant that access will always be uninterrupted or that every non-material site error will be corrected immediately.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Robert Frankel Fine Art Prints will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed. For a claim relating to a purchased product, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters, labor interruptions, government action, customs delays, or widespread systems failures. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the event and will provide the cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer's usual place of residence.
Before filing a formal claim, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Nothing in this section requires arbitration or waives access to a court or another remedy provided by law.
18. Severability and waiver
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the store, our practices, or applicable requirements. The revised version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise.
